Privacy Policy
This website is operated by Benoil Services Ltd, a company registered in England (company number 01946620), with its registered address at 2 Toomers Wharf, Canal Walk, Newbury RG14 1DY, United Kingdom. Benoil is the controller of the personal information collected through this site. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, please get in touch through our Contact page.
What we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us through our forms:
- Contact and bespoke design enquiries: your name, company, email address, country and message, plus any details you share about your application.
- Catalogue enquiries (View Enquiry): the same contact details, together with the parts and quantities in your enquiry.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your messages.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and manage any order or ongoing business that follows. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where you ask for a quotation, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We will not use your details for marketing without your consent, and we never sell them.
Who we share it with
Your information is handled by Benoil staff and by the providers that host this website and our email, who act on our instructions. Our forms are protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical information such as your IP address to confirm a person sent the form. The translation feature on this site is provided by Google Translate, which receives similar technical information when it loads. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any business that follows, and for up to six years afterwards where they are needed for accounting, legal or warranty purposes. Enquiries that do not lead to business are normally deleted within two years.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for it to be transferred to another organisation. To make a request, contact us through our Contact page. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of essential cookies that it needs to work, for example to remember the parts in your enquiry, to keep the site secure and to remember your cookie choice. These do not track you across other sites.
When you first visit, a pop-up asks whether you accept all cookies or essential cookies only. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies; if we add any, they will only be set if you choose to accept all cookies. You can change your choice at any time: change cookie settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
